Why throw away perfectly good alpaca and llama fiber when it can be used for the birds?  We carefully stuff these 6″ grape vine balls with second and third quality fleece.  Many farms will toss all but prime fleece since it is not as soft against the skin.  We attach twine to the ball so it can easily be hung on branches somewhere in your yard.  Birds land on the ball, select the fleece they want to line their nest and you have done your part in helping to keep baby birds warm and dry in the spring.  We offer free refills for the lifetime of the vine ball.  It is a thoughtful gift item that any nature lover will enjoy for a long time.
