Hand Knit Lovable Hearts

Come ready to have fun, be creative, and leave with some adorable fuzzy hearts to either keep for yourself or gift to a loved one – no prior experience required!

Join us for this 2-hour hands-on class where you will learn the basics of hand-knitting first (chain stitch, regular stitch and an increase stitch), then you’ll be guided step-by-step on how to turn those stitches into cute little heart plushies. You will be able to make two hearts in your choice of colors…and can leave them as is or add some personality with eyes, smile, feet and a bow. Completed size of the hearts is approximately 6” high by 8”wide.

All materials are included and each participant will receive a booklet with full instructions/photos and a link to a video for future reference. (The pattern for the hearts, instructions and video were designed by Chunky Knit Corner and are being used/taught with their permission. Each participant’s class fee includes the purchase of these from Chunky Knit Corner.)

Instructor:

Lori McHale is a local artist with an interest in creativity in all its forms including hand-knitting, furniture painting, and home decorating. She turned her newest creative passion of hand-knitting into a venture called Sweet Angel Stitches where she crafts unique hand-knit items like stuffed plushies and cozy chunky knit blankets. Her classes are known for their laid-back and fun style, making it easy for anyone to learn and enjoy. She resides in Chester Springs with her husband of 25 years, their daughter and golden retriever.
