Upcoming Events

We have an exciting fall/winter season this year.  In addition to our regular programs like farm tours and alpaca adoptions, we’ve added Outdoor Yoga classes, some new and repeat creative art classes, new farm store hours, live demos, special photo ops, and an exciting National Alpaca Farm Day.  Read on to learn more.

National Alpaca Farm Day!!!

Saturday, September 25th

We will celebrate National Alpaca Farm Day and our Ten Year Anniversary on September 25th.  Assuming decent weather, we will have fiber demos, live music, local wine tasting, alpaca visits, raffles, tortoise petting and a STOREWIDE SALE to kick off the season.  If you want to take part in our Hatha-Paca Yoga class at 10 am to start the day’s events, please click on the link below.  We would love to have you here.  We don’t want to carelessly sponsor a massive celebration in these times of COVID, but we do want to recognize an important milestone on our journey.  All activities are outside.  Please follow CDC Guidelines and use your judgement when walking in.  Parking will be limited and carpooling is encouraged.  We ask that NO DOGs enter the property – even in your car.  I know you love them but the alpacas are extra skittish around dogs so we don’t want to give them a reason to be unnecessarily anxious on THEIR big day.

Farm Store Hours

We continue to be Open by Appointment for now but always open if you are here for a tour, an adoption, a class, workshop, or other event.  Feel free to shop online and opt for free local pick up or we are happy to ship.  We do our best to keep the online store up to date but I admit it can be daunting!!

November:

Open 1 pm to 4 pm EVERY Sunday

December:

Open 10 am to 2 pm EVERY Saturday except 12/25

Open 1 pm to 4 pm EVERY Sunday except 12/26

Hatha-Paca Yoga

Wednesdays at 10 am throughout September & October BONUS class on Saturday, September 25th

A peaceful pasture is the perfect place to practice postures.  Hatha-Paca Yoga classes led by a certified yoga instructor are new for us and we’re excited to bring them to you.  The bonus class on September 25th will help us kick off National Alpaca Farm Day.  We will take drop ins for any of these classes, but prefer if you sign up in advance.  Classes can be modified for any level.

Flow-Paca Yoga

Fridays at 10 am throughout September & October

Much like the Hatha-Paca Yoga above, this class will also be led by a certified yoga instructor but focuses more on strength, flexibility, breathing and aligning the body.  We will take drop ins, but prefer if you sign up in advance.  Classes can be modified for any level.

Alpaca 201 is geared toward new or existing owners but if you’ve already taken Alpaca 101 it’s a great next step.  Most of our afternoon will be in the alpaca field with the animals so please dress comfortably in shoes that can get dirty – because they will. By the end of the workshop you will leave with a better sense of how to approach, halter, lead, herd and prepare for herd health.
