‘Turns out’, canning lids aren’t just for Mason and Ball Jars.  In this class we’ll ‘twist’ off those lids and create a one of a kind 2D piece that will fit snugly in the circle.  Hang on your tree, give as a gift, take it to a holiday party as a hostess gift.  Bring a friend and spend a fun day with alpacas and fiber enthusiasts.

Needle felting is a process that sculpts wool into any shape you imagine.  Wool fibers are covered with scales.  In needle felting we use special barbed needles that lock the scales of the fiber together through agitation.  What this looks like in real time, is stabbing fluffy colorful wool over and over with sharp needles.  We will be using a variety of fibers for this project. This is a beginner friendly class.

Classes are held in the comfort of our converted double bay garage.  It is on the street level and equipped with a powder room.  If the class is full we may ask you to park at the bottom of the driveway and walk up the short distance past the alpaca fields.  We have a farm shop on the property that you are also welcome to visit.  Feel free to BYOB or snacks.  Pictures and fun are encouraged!
