Spit Happens T-Shirt 2025

Description

Grab a piece of Silkie’s Farm and wear it proudly.  Every year around Shearing Time in the spring, we release a new T-shirt.  We usually wait until Shearing Day but we just help ourselves this year – we must share!

2025’s shirt might be my new favorite.  By popular demand we brought back one of our revered slogans – “spit happens” – and believe me it does, especially on shearing day. Spit Happens is printed on the back.

On the front, this soft tee features a hand-drawn depiction of some characters here on the farm.  Let’s start with our former ‘bad boy’, Cedric – wearing shades because he was so cool, right?  RooBarb is caught mid cock-a-doodle perched on good old Squirt’s back.  And Ambra, the first llama born here on the farm, who happens to be turning a year old in April.  Speaking of firsts, Cedric was the first male alpaca born here and RooBarb was our first rooster.  Squirt is certainly our first tortoise.

This year we are offering 2 colors – Subtle Rust and Sassy Turquoise.

10% of Proceeds from the sale of this shirt in 2025 will go to New Bolton Center.  Their staff cared so well for our girl Kid Charlemagne and her cria Josie.  We are grateful for their professional abilities and want to continue to support what they do.  Thanks!
