About Silkie's Farm

Silkie's Alpaca Farm has operated in the peaceful hills of Chester County, Pennsylvania since 2011.  We started out as alpaca breeders but quickly learned that we could do so much more with our tiny farm and bring joy to the community.  These animals are naturally shy and docile.  They penetrate your heart the second you look into their huge eyes.  They are easy to care for and produce a luxurious, hypo-allergenic fleece year after year.  Their prime fleece has the potential to create so many soft, wearable items and even the lesser quality fleece has tremendous uses.  We use every drop of their fiber and even make great use of their manure for plants.  Go to our 'Alpaca Facts' section to learn more.
