Our Alpacas
We love alpacas! Our herd changes all the time because we are breeders. Babies are born, alpacas are sold to other farms, etc. If you have an interest in one of our alpacas, please ask. We are happy to work with you to find the right fit for your program or farm.
Meet Tara
Tara is the matriarch at Silkie’s Farm. Although she is older she is filled with energy and sophistication. Tara is a proven, light brown female and her offspring carry her reserved qualities. Her sire, Captain Nemo is a multi blue ribbon champion. You will recognize Tara in the field because she has the absolute best posture. Her neck is always straight up as she is observing all that is around her. She is always alert and poised. Tara brought us a beautiful medium brown female in the spring of 2022. Frankly Scarlett is thriving and very bonded with mom and the herd.
